Theta Class Collegiate Ambassadors Endorsement

As the 2024-25 Collegiate Ambassador Theta Class, it is our honor to endorse Madam UCC Doni Walker, who is running for re-election as the Central Region’s Undergraduate Chapter Coordinator for the 2026-28 sorority years. Her commitment to rebuilding and expanding undergraduate leadership resulted in a transformative re-establishment of the Collegiate Ambassador Program.
Madam UCC’s belief that undergraduates are the future of our sisterhood has consistently been shown through her actions and initiatives for undergraduates. The Collegiate Ambassador program has been elevated with components of mentorship, workshop and event planning, professional development training, and a capstone project. This multi-faceted approach increased the program’s visibility while maximizing impact across the region.
Under her guidance, undergraduate Sorors gained greater access to regional committees and leadership. Our cohort met monthly to develop professionally, strengthen leadership skills, and create lasting bonds with one another. Ambassadors had direct mentorship from regional leadership, and Madam UCC Walker took on the role of a mentor in addition to facilitating the program.
Throughout the program, we were exposed to many sides of our beloved sisterhood that we wouldn’t have come to know if it weren’t for Madam UCC. Our capstone addressed the concerns of undergraduates across the region about key issues in membership intake and multigenerational connections. This leadership opportunity provided undergraduates with a voice within the sorority that we did not think was possible.
The restoration of the program led to curated spaces meant for undergraduate members in conference and area meeting spaces. This included business workshops, a case study competition, a successful poodle pop-up shop, a fashion show, and more. She makes her presence known on our campuses by sharing, attending, and promoting our events and attends when she is able.
While under Madam UCC’s wing for the duration of the program, we have been afforded the privilege of familiarizing ourselves with the kind of sister, Soror, and woman she is. Her guidance, compassion and dependability makes her truly inspiring. The consideration and love she holds for us young women has left a lasting impact in each of our lives. Not for only us as individuals, but for our chapters and undergraduates.
It is our firm belief that she has and will continue to succeed in the work she does in the next term. She exemplifies what it means to support undergraduates, elevate the sigma brand, and form sisterly bonds. For these reasons, she has our endorsement for re-election.
Signed,
The members of the 2024-25 Central Region Collegiate Ambassador Program, Theta Class
